ZEN AND THE ART OF MAKING LOVE

THERE'S TANTRA AND TANTRA REGARDING THE DIFFERENT TECHNIQUES OF ORIENTAL LOVEMAKING

There is a lot of confusion surrounding Tantra yoga and Taoist sex. In ancient texts, the way of presenting the ideas under a single label leads to confusing three different ways of having sex. The differences between these three methods lie above all in what the man must do or not do. The method described up to now, the peak-experience orgasm, is one of these three ways. The peak-experience orgasm (or sweet Tantra) is characterized by the fact that you don't do anything. And, in particular, you don't do anything to withhold or prevent ejaculation. You simply fall into a state of beatitude that is different from reaching the pinnacle of excitement that corresponds to the typical orgasm.

The other two techniques that are often confused with each other foresee reaching typical orgasm and experiencing a sort of ejaculation, but without there being a real emission of seminal fluid. I would like to begin by saying that I judge these two methods insane and a little absurd and that if you are interested in trying them you have to take courses with very knowledgeable teachers because if they are not accompanied with specific relaxation practices (yoga or ci kung) they can cause serious irritations and contractions. Therefore proceed carefully. I would define these two methods as missed ejaculation (widely practiced in China) and dry orgasm (practiced mainly in India), and I will take all praise to have been the first to describe these methods in a way that is easy to understand.
To reach non-ejaculation, the man makes love by plunging and withdrawing his penis from the scented lily. He does it rhythmically, alternating three deep and one superficial thrust. When he feels excitement mounting, he stops, takes a breath, retracts his abdominal muscles and forcefully contracts his pubococcygeal muscle (the one you use to block your pee). When he then desires it, he reaches orgasm, but continues to contract this muscle rhythmically, enabling the canal of the urethra to close as sperm is about to spill out. That is, it precisely prevents emission. Sperm thus blocked turn back. It's a very strange sensation.

Orgasm is weak as a result because you are mentally involved. This method is also used in the West as contraception by a certain group of Spanish Catholics. Missed ejaculation is erroneously defined by some as multiple orgasm. It is true that by blocking ejaculation in such a way you don't lose your erection, but it is also true that there isn't any pleasure in doing it because there is no real orgasm. There is only the pleasure of having looked clever. Conversely, the dry orgasm method foresees that you must devote yourself to moving the least possible. You have to remain relaxed and contract rhythmically and slowly the muscle that closes the anus. After around 31 minutes, you have a sort orgasmic release without sperm attempting to come out. Tension simply slows down with rhythmic releases of warmth and pleasure. Even in this case, there is orgasmic pleasure, but it's very disappointing. Periodically, however, whoever practices these methods must ejaculate to avoid irritation.

The frequency of necessary ejaculations varies gradually with age: every four days for a young man, every twenty-eight days for an old man. This is very important. All the ancient texts that illustrate these methods maintain that the purpose of these practices is the cosmic union between male and female and total meditative abandon. But then they propose two methods that lead precisely in the opposite direction. The reason is historical. I am convinced that the original idea, Tantric love at its purest and spiritual, would be the one that we proposed (peak-experience orgasm).
